The chef David Jason of the TV show "Abundante, Más Que un Programa de Cocina" (Abundant, More Than a Cooking Show), has been selected for representing Peruvian gastronomy at the International Association Conference of Culinary Professionals 2006 which will take place in Seattle, Washington, U.S. next April.

This is the first time that David Jesson will represent Peru in this gastronomic event which gathers the gastronomic elite in the world. It is expected the attendance of 3 thousand culinary professionals.
Jesson's appointment was due to the unbelievable increase in audience worldwide as his TV show is watched by 340 million people in five continents.
The chef David Jesson is the Founder and President of the Dream Center Peru, institution that supports Peru in different social areas. "Abundante, Más Que un Programa de Cocina" is one of them.
"Our principal market is not South America; anyone who understands the global economy will promote exports to international markets, which would then invest in Peru. It is about supporting Peru", says Chef David. |
